Description
These are our Stencil8 compatible PCB stencil jig and tooling plates. They allow an easy method of fixturing stencils for adding solder paste to PCBs for surface mount electronics.
Uses 2.5mm steel pins with a hole spacing of 10mm from hole centers.
Plate size is ~220x220x6mm 21×21 hole pattern.
Comes with 10pcs 2.5mm x 15.8mm pins
Additional uses:
-Laser tooling plate for easily fixturing repeated jobs.
-PCB jig for pick and place fixturing.
-Glue or silkscreen stencil holder.
-Outer size and hole pattern compatible with the standard Reprap PCB heater footprint.
Sidenote: These plates were created from some Reprap 3d printer bedplates I had made many years ago. Since it is no longer common to use resistor heated beds on printers I decided to have them converted to stencil jigs. If there is an interest in them I will continue to manufacture more and possibly create more adaptations upon request.
