This is a page for the pre-order of the V2 prime board which will be the final retail version. If you would like a board immediately please purchase the “kickstarter version” which is currently in stock.
Smoothieboard V2 Prime
MCU: STM32H745 265pin BGA
Stepper drivers: 4 onboard drivers with 2 options TMC2660 with an ideal current range of 1.2-2.2A TMC2590 with an ideal current range of 2.4-4.6A (may require heatsinking or fan)
Output MOSFETs: 4 single FETs all of which share a common highside PFET for additional shutoff capability. 1 Dual FET output for higher current outputs such as bed heaters
6 endstop/limit connectors with buffered and ESD protected inputs.
1 Probe input with Comparator input. Capable of 3-45v probe voltage (Range set by jumpers)
3 Buffered and ESD protected ADC inputs for thermistor temperature measurement
1 onboard thermistor for board temperature monitoring
5v@3a onboard regulator with output.
MSD pushbutton: If you press this button (or send the command) it will go into MSD mode and mount the board as a storage device until it is ejected by the host.
10/100 onboard ethernet with Magjack
SD card slot
USB Host (currently unused in firmware)
RTC battery (optional but functional)
9 10-pin connector headers with various GPIO allowing for up to 63 pins of expansion.
All power inputs via XT30 connectors for easy connection.
